Sweet 16

This is the general synopsis of the Sweet 16 competition currently headed up by Sharron:

This is it, a brand new broadcasting contest unlike any high school event anywhere. Enter your whole staff, including your teacher! We give you a one-word, general theme, and you get 16 hours to produce an entire show. The winners will receive plaques, applause, and bragging rights for a full year, and everyone involved will attend a special mixer to discuss the experience and learn from each other. The entry fee is $100 per team, and you bring your own gear to shoot and edit on, but most of all, bring your e-n-e-r-g-y. You will need it! This one has two divisions, one for schools in their first five years of video production, the other for the schools with six years or more. Oh yeah, you can even enter two teams from your school if you have the enough equipment and teachers! This one takes place March 7 beginning at 7:30 a.m. with a rules meeting, then it's a sprint to make midnight deadline.
